Ancestral values

Write about a few of your favorite family traditions.

We belong to the Vaishnav community and live a commensurate life worshipping lord Krishna no bar believing all other Hindu deities.

Occasionally commuting to Haveli temples is our central faith. One-day fast is observed on the eleventh day of a fortnight, pairing twice in a month according to the Gujarati calendar. Ethnic values pertinent to Hinduism dwell in the core of our day-to-day routine. This is largely reflected in our dress and vegetarian cuisines.

Apart from the marriage ceremonies social gatherings occur once a year in our ancestral village. The one-day program covers morning prayers, speeches, awards and a lot more concluding with meals till late evening. Everything happens in about a hundred-year-old community hall.
