What books do you want to read?

1. Indian and Western philosophies by Fernando Tola
2. Hindus in Hindu Rashtra by Prof. Anand Ranganathan
The above two books promptly come to mind. Yet, there are several subjects on which I opted to read available books. A few attempts miserably failed whenever I interestingly embarked upon works of Shakespeare. Maybe for any reason but soon I get bored and do not dare go further.
Literature is perhaps not among my favourite genres since the focus of my reading is on informative books, irrespective of the subject. Though my thinking and concepts collide heavily with that of veteran author Shobhaa De, I take the opportunity to fumble for her books every time I enter a public library. Isn’t it laughable and resembling “Discovery of India” by Jawaharlal Nehru, the book I would love to read again of a man whom I hate from the core of my heart and brain?
History, psychology, philosophy and a little bit of spirituality may inspire me to deep-diving. Politics remains a steady undercurrent of my area of interest.
Lastly, a reminder. I’ve authored two novels in the Gujarati language. First was ” વિચારાકારનો પડછાયો” and second was, “તરંગસત્.” I love reading them more often than many times.
