Classic cinematography in the film Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan coupled with hottie Deepika Padukone resembles the endeavour of the great storyteller.
Siddharth Anand having to flesh his guts in film direction is potentially all set to coin another blockbuster in the Hindi film “Fighter,” starring Hrithik and Deepika together for the first time on the silver screen. Duo passed the chemistry test with a distinction. Bonny stars in a patriotic theme can be a success tale on the eve of a Republic Day.
A division of the Indian Air Force takes on a Pakistan-sponsored terror outfit and faces a tragic string of consequences as the film moves on. The first half of the film is relatively seen as assembling the story to unfold some secrets and cinematic tricks in the next. The action-packed creation of Anand has little to say about the horrific Pulwama attack and more is action fiction. Nonetheless, a puissant and seamless rolling on the screen renders it a watchable one.
Wonderful aerial shots coupled with roaring symphonies of fighter jets bring a wary cluster to the cinema hall. Direction can be well-complimented for a high standard of visuals encircling perfect camera placements with appropriate angles. Aerial stunts accompanied by beautiful locations in the background stem the height of hostility between two warring nations. Siddharth Anand is known for creating masterpieces is a proven recurred phrase.
Sharib Hashmi has had a bite of a light comedy scene. The well-known OTT artist ardently accomplished a secret mission assigned to him during the play. The same droplets of scattered comic scenes in the movie would have enhanced the climate among the patriotic viewers.
Unreal trajectories like Hrithik losing his wife, a fighter pilot for his blunders in combat and again wearing soft feelings for Deepika Padukone on the screen seem a little waded to the patriotic theme. Instead of the group dance that typically happens in military circles a glamorous Hrithik-Deepika choreography also derailed the essence of the wartime sentiments on the silver screen. This again points out the hesitation in the minds of the makers about whether the film would hit the box office solely on military grounds. Anil Kapoor as usual is impeccable in his role making stunning facial expressions clinching the stage.
Ashutosh Rana along with Geeta Agrawal impacts the guest appearance notably to his standards. The electric presence on the screen for only a few minutes holds a solid message to consolidate the role of Deepika Padukone in the movie. Depiction of gender discrimination has its share in Hindi cinema may not wonder anyone if it marks a palpable tiny presentation.
The melodious songs with well-composed lyrics lift this movie again to the perfect Bollywood stance. The voice of Arijit pounds melodic impressions at large in the audience.
Some print media stated 50 crore rupees as remuneration for Hrithik against 15 and 7 crore respectively for Deepka and Anil. The film budget is reasonable at Rs 250 crores reported by the sources in this context.
This film by Siddharth Anand is a substantial mixture of fictitious and non-fictitious parts in it. The story is woven around the Pulwama attack and Balakot air strikes, but unnecessarily deviated to the Bollywood masala technique. The elongated concluding scene towards the end of the movie faded Indian supremacy over the terror aka Jaish e Mohammad. Villian is single-handedly taking on the entire Air Force Group which sounds fishy and tremendously unreal. Rishabh Sawhney played an impressive role as Azhar Akhtar, a Jaish operative in Pakistan. Spectator’s expectations rise to the fullest when it comes to the bravery of the Indian soldiers who crush the intentions of the terror state mercilessly. And above all arguments in the universe, viewers want a lone villain to be neutralised without much effort by the forces.
Well-played characters standing firmly to the testament in a war-based theme make the film watchable lest the viewers keep in mind a commercial movie intended for the box office collection.
