Write about your first computer.
Alas! That PC in @1990 was a watermelon compared to the modern PC, an orange. The speed then was of a bullock cart. But guys, it was an ultra-modern thing though.
The journey with the computer started in 1986. In a government-approved and certified class, having limited seats and a competitive entrance test. Morning class at 7 in the morning, you know, 12 km away from my residence in Ahmedabad, followed by the regular college which falls 6 km back on the route. Tough going, however, smelt lungs booming in the rarity of that time. It was all about learning DOS, algorithms and flow charts, programming and whatnot!
The first PC at home was some twelve years later, of not much use relating to my field of work. The floppy disc was an unreliable storage and HD used to be 512 MB, if I’m not mistaken.
