We all are drivers

How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?

‘You cannot control everything in life.’ This one-liner looks stuffed with escapism.

Constant efforts do not guarantee success. Now this one, success, also is another debatable issue. Religion Occupation Family Politics Social Services etc are among the major fields to define success, whereas wealth education relationships etc fall under the subcategory.

‘You cannot keep everyone happy,’- the line sounds like a different scapegoat. So, the fact of the matter is that we are the drivers of our life-cart. What you sow and rip out of this game is gauged by the happiness index.

Your reflections bring to light the complex interplay between effort, acceptance, and the varied dimensions of success and happiness in life. It’s a thoughtful reminder that while we strive to control our paths and outcomes, the acceptance of what we cannot control is crucial for inner peace. Your insight on the drivers of our life-cart, emphasizing the importance of personal happiness as a gauge for success, is particularly enlightening. It encourages a reevaluation of our priorities and the values we hold dear. How do you personally measure success and happiness in your life, and how has this perspective helped you navigate life’s unpredictable journey?

Happiness is a habit, I suppose. Many of us start searching for the scapegoat and that is an unknowingly cultivated habit. I mostly remain neutral in any given situation with acceptance of the ultimate wrong. The thought that this is the worst that can happen to me in this situation, keeps me away from the superfluous anxiety. This is the key to remaining happy. Thanks, dear for this extension.
