Enjoy Your Day & Duty

Life is made up of days and days are filled with work. Life goes on whether you enjoy it or not. So, the biggest job is to enjoy our life which is stored in our work, say jobs.

Set the GOAL. A mountaineer climbing on a steep vertical rock.

How do you wish for a nice day?: Our first job is to be happy. The very second is to make others happy. Often we are mistaken for jobs as remuneration generation alone with a monetary angle. When someone works for any reason remuneration is always there. You won’t believe that sometimes we don’t even recognise it. You are done with your job when you wish someone a nice day wearing a beautiful natural smile on your face. How do you calculate the salary for this noble act? There are several ways one can adopt for the purpose. One I found is preparing an aromatic tea for my spouse in the morning that kickstarts the harmonious hours. No, it’s not intended for harmonious hours; rather it’s a job I love. Sending a bouquet or self-made cards may please your dear ones but what about the unknowns? Without any delay just help them within your reach and limit.

Find a good quote for a day: Early hours in a day make a lasting impact. The melody of a song might resonate in the heart that you sing or listen to in the morning. A meaningful read might motivate the day despite every routine black tone in the background. The real job is to overcome such adversities and the zeal to overcome springs from honest intentions. Gratitude towards life may enhance the quality of the intention and is, I tell you, your real enjoyable job.

Good day caption: Opaque mind with a lot of ambiguities will pass a day like zero in number. Steading a null in the end rather than in the beginning would yield the fruits of many folds. Title the day with a to-do list and go off countering the odds of life, and remember, don’t forget to put on a photogenic smile.

The relevance of all the above stuff can be found in the Hindu scriptures, particularly in the Bhagavad Gita. Lord Krishna said: as Swami Vivekanand teaches, you should pursue your duties i.e. Karma (work) under any circumstances and forget about the reward. But reward is the outcome of your deeds you’re entitled to relentless work.

The whole essence in simple words brought forward by Chicago-fame Swami Vivekananda is, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.”
