Write a letter to your 100-year-old self.

Oh, dear self, amazingly you crossed the 100-year mark. Fifty years back you thought you were wise enough and learned almost everything in life. But the time proved you wrong.

You of course gather knowledge throughout life, but most of them are the new versions of the same thing. Recall when you were taught first 0 or first 1 in your life. That was a breakthrough. Later you learn that 10 or even one million or billions are all new versions of that original knowledge including π and √. Every sphere of life spins around the same logic or understanding that exhibits different renditions of the same account.

What meaning did you retrieve of it my dear self? It doesn’t mean you were not a scholar at ten years or fifty years of age. It doesn’t mean you’re not more knowledgeable at 100 now. It simply imprints your superiority over others who at this moment have reached to understanding till 10 or 50 numbers. If you’re perplexed by a strange number game let me bombshell another one. A person who acquires a faster number tally in terms of knowledge is wiser than you. Hence, it is evident that age is merely an arithmetic vertical count without any geometrical puzzles.

For another fifty years as you wish to continue your duty will be to guide others to a better understanding of life. Most people have no time to think about the materialistic world in faster pursuit of a career and family. Make them believe that peace of mind is above all accomplishments of living. How to stand tall in adverse situations is the biggest art of dealing with our patience and passions.

My dear heart, you may guide others but you still need a mentor who ushers you to the destination in a triumphant way.
